Soap

I began making all natural home made cold process soap because I wanted to lead a more natural and healthful life. I started with three basic batches of soap and they all turned out great. I have perfected my recipes and created different bars that have different purposes. When I say purpose I am talking about what the bar is used for, whether it be for exfoliation, face, shaving, or for dry/oily skin.

Lianna’s soaps are all natural and made with organic coconut oil and organic olive oil. The olive oil is grown and produced in St. Ynez, California which helps to reduce my carbon footprint and support local sustainable farmers. The soap is wrapped with tree free paper made from 100% recycled post-consumer paper and agro-industrial waste. I am continuing to find a way to reduce my carbon footprint and search for the next best eco friendly solution to packaging. In the meantime I have been testing out some other homemade products.

The scrubs I am using in the shower contain: salt, sugar, almond oil or coconut oil. Almond oil and coconut oil act as the moisturizer to hydrate and soften the skin. The sugar and salt help to remove dead skin cells and reveal soft and hydrated skin.

I also began to make lip balms that are very simple using olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, beeswax and either grapefruit or peppermint essential oil. My lip balm is heavier in oils so it hydrates lips and also leaves a shine acting like a lip gloss too!

    • Hi Mike, I am going to start selling my soaps on etsy at the beginning of next week May 18. At the top of my blog page in the menu bar there is a tab called shop. Click the shop tab and there will be an etsy shop button on that page. Click and it will take you to my etsy where you can purchase under the soap category. Thank you so much for your interest! I will also write a post when the soap is on etsy.
